Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21 to deliver alcohol)
- have a valid driver’s license number
- provide a social security number if in the US
- have consistent access to a smartphone
- own a vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities)
- be eligible to work in your city or region
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous shopping or delivery experience preferred
- familiarity with local area and traffic patterns
- ability to use smartphone and delivery apps
- basic math skills for handling payments and order calculations
- strong customer service skills
- reliable transportation (car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities)
Job Duties
- Shop for groceries and retail items accurately and efficiently
- deliver orders promptly to customers
- manage time effectively to maximize earnings
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and track deliveries
- activate and use the Red Card for purchases
- communicate with customers and support teams as needed
- ensure customer satisfaction by following specific order instructions
