Job Requirements

  • a high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hospital or clinical experience preferred
  • ability to work independently
  • good communication, telephone, and human relation skills
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress
  • availability to work varied hours including days, evenings, holidays, weekends
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • must have an excellent driving record

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttle buses, or taxis
  • offer direction support
  • provide mobility assistance
  • answer general questions from guests
  • keep patient loading zones clear
  • transport patients, their personal belongings, or selected medical devices
  • call, record, and monitor taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles
  • assist and support valet operations
  • sanitize equipment used to support patients
  • assist with traffic control in drive-up lanes
  • perform wheelchair recovery across hospital floors, clinics, hotels, and ancillary areas
