Job Requirements

  • previous hospital or clinical experience preferred
  • ability to work independently
  • good communication and telephone skills
  • human relation skills to interact with patients, guests, and staff
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress
  • availability to work varied hours including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • valid driver's license and excellent driving record

Job Duties

  • assist patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttle buses, or taxis
  • offer direction support and mobility assistance
  • answer general questions asked by guests
  • keep patient loading zones clear
  • transport patients, belongings, or medical devices
  • call, record, and monitor taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles
  • support valet operations
  • sanitize equipment used
  • assist with traffic control in drive-up lanes
  • perform wheelchair recovery across hospital floors, clinic floors, hotels, and campus areas
