Job Requirements

  • must have previous hospital or clinical experience preferred
  • ability to work independently
  • good communication skills
  • telephone skills
  • strong human relation skills
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress
  • must be able to work varied hours including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • must have a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
  • not eligible for sponsorship
  • cannot sponsor or transfer visas
  • does not participate in F-1 STEM OPT extension program

Job Duties

  • assist patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttle buses, or taxis
  • establish and maintain pleasant and helpful relationships with patients and visitors
  • offer direction support and mobility assistance
  • answer general questions asked by guests
  • keep patient loading zones clear
  • transport patients, their belongings, or medical devices
  • call, record, and monitor taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles
  • assist and support valet operations
  • sanitize equipment used to support patients
  • assist with traffic control in drive-up lanes to ensure safety
  • perform wheelchair recovery in hospital floors, clinics, hotels, and other ancillary areas
