Job Duties
- Greet and escort guests to rooms
- open doors and assist guests entering and leaving property
- inform guests of amenities, services, hours of operation, and local attractions
- identify and explain room features such as room keys, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, and valet laundry services
- transport luggage to and from guest rooms and designated bell area
- assist with luggage storage and retrieval
- assist guests in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage
- supply guests with directions
- arrange transportation services such as taxicab, shuttle bus, limousine, and sedan service
- communicate parking procedures to guests
- follow company policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities
- speak professionally and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- comply with quality assurance standards
- read and verify information
- move promptly to respond to work situations
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 75 pounds with assistance
- navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
