Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • ability to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • physical ability to navigate uneven surfaces and perform manual tasks

Job Duties

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms
  • open doors and assist guests entering and leaving property
  • inform guests of amenities, services, hours of operation, and local attractions
  • identify and explain room features such as room keys, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, and valet laundry services
  • transport luggage to and from guest rooms and designated bell area
  • assist with luggage storage and retrieval
  • assist guests in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage
  • supply guests with directions
  • arrange transportation services such as taxicab, shuttle bus, limousine, and sedan service
  • communicate parking procedures to guests
  • follow company policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities
  • speak professionally and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • read and verify information
  • move promptly to respond to work situations
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 75 pounds with assistance
  • navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
