Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in luxury hospitality or customer service roles is an asset
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • excellent guest service orientation
  • knowledge of local area attractions and transportation options is advantageous
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greet guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel
  • assist guests descending from cars
  • issue appropriate valet parking ticket to guests who want car parked
  • give verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot
  • open hotel doors for all guests
  • unload guest luggage from car, tag it and issue claim tickets to the guest
  • direct hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in
  • transfer luggage to the Bell Staff
  • assure the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to the appropriate positions and directing valet parkers to park cars
  • provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions
  • hail taxis as needed
  • load luggage in car for departing guests
  • handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • resolve customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc
  • greet all guests passing through Front Door and offer them assistance
  • comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
