Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in luxury hospitality or customer service roles is an asset
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- excellent guest service orientation
- knowledge of local area attractions and transportation options is advantageous
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- professional appearance and demeanor
Job Duties
- Greet guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel
- assist guests descending from cars
- issue appropriate valet parking ticket to guests who want car parked
- give verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot
- open hotel doors for all guests
- unload guest luggage from car, tag it and issue claim tickets to the guest
- direct hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in
- transfer luggage to the Bell Staff
- assure the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to the appropriate positions and directing valet parkers to park cars
- provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions
- hail taxis as needed
- load luggage in car for departing guests
- handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
- resolve customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc
- greet all guests passing through Front Door and offer them assistance
- comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
- work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
