Job Requirements
- Elementary education
- No prior work experience required
- Six months customer service work experience is highly desirable
- Six months material handling experience is highly desirable
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting up to 35 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to work under variable weather conditions
- Capability to interact professionally with the public and supervisors

Job Duties
- Greet and assist donors in a friendly and courteous manner
- Demonstrate superior customer service at all times
- Accept or reject donations based on item condition and agency policy
- Record and maintain donor records accurately
- Handle donated materials carefully and safely to maximize value
- Record and maintain electronic waste donations in accordance with state regulations
- Label and scan material containers into the electronic warehouse management system
- Keep the work area free of safety hazards
- Work in a safe and organized manner
- Perform in-store processing duties as assigned
- Place trash in appropriate containers
- Attend work regularly to perform essential job functions
- Observe and support all agency policies and audits
- Perform processing and janitorial duties as directed by store management
