Job Requirements
- No specific amount of formal education required
- Domestic Services Aide experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check
- Must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to perform physical tasks required in housekeeping duties
- Ability to comply with MDHHS policies and procedures
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications

- Eighteen months of experience equivalent to Domestic Services Aide 5 preferred
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties effectively
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain records
- Ability to handle patient property with care
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping services to maintain clean and sanitary environment
- Sew, mend, wash, dry, fold, sort, label, and inventory patient clothing
- Maintain organized patient clothing room
- Pickup, deliver, unload, and load linen carts
- Sort, place ties on hamper bags, and stamp linen
- Inventory and replenish linen supplies on wards
- Maintain clean and organized clean linen room
