Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year customer service or tracking experience in freight forwarding
- Ability to use AS400 software preferred
- Knowledge of U.S. geography and airport codes preferred
- Basic to intermediate PC skills including MS Office
- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

- Prior experience with AS400 a plus

- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time and tasks

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Job Duties
- Track and trace shipments as necessary to ensure proper movement and delivery
- Participate in the development and use of suitable sales forecasting processes and models
- Update shipments with current shipment status including comprehensive notes
- Communicate daily with AIT field offices and agent/carrier networks to ensure on-time performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve service disruptions
- Maintain familiarity with conditions requiring special services and ensure accurate data entry of these costs
- Answer departmental phone lines and emails
- Cultivate and foster trusting relationships with AIT's agent/carrier networks
