  • familiarity with SAP and AS400 systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Quoting shipments and tracking domestic freight moving via air and ground daily
  • routing freight shipments across multiple transportation modes based on client requests
  • proactively communicating with clients regarding status of freight
  • coordinating with vendors and suppliers about shipment dispatch, routing, and rates
  • assisting local sales and domestic offices with air and ground freight issues
  • managing daily on-time performance, defect codes, carrier re-weights, and rating accuracy
  • compiling customer-specific key performance indicator reports
  • ensuring accuracy in paperwork, labeling, and scanning
  • processing monthly inventory
  • handling shipments with special requirements such as high-value or time-sensitive consignments
