Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • possess a valid Food Handler's Permit
  • capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • able to stand or walk for long periods
  • able to work in extreme temperatures
  • meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • available for shift work including opening and closing
  • willing to travel for new restaurant openings
  • must pass identity verification through E-Verify

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of Dave's Hot Chicken team member and shift manager training programs
  • proven leadership skills with experience in training and managing teams
  • strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • service-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • bilingual skills a plus
  • ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • ability to perform basic math operations including cash handling

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations
  • handle customer concerns and special requests promptly and professionally
  • oversee daily restaurant operations and anticipate potential issues
  • enforce Dave's Hot Chicken standards for quality, service, and cleanliness
  • supervise, train, and motivate team members during your shift
  • support staffing, scheduling, and labor cost controls
  • open and close the restaurant as needed
  • travel to support new restaurant openings when necessary
  • create a friendly, team-oriented work environment for both staff and customers
  • maintain all food and cash control procedures
  • be a leader in promoting company values like compassion, communication, and collaboration
  • ensure 100% shift attendance and lead by example
