Job Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and stoop, and lift 50 - 75 lbs comfortably
  • Be able to work in close quarters and around heat
  • Have a positive attitude while conducting all duties
  • Have a commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Effective communicator with teammates and the restaurant management team

Job Qualifications

  • High school or better
  • Previous food service experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive and helpful attitude
  • Work together with other teammates to prepare items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements
  • Use specific kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing, sanitizing, disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, and servicing restrooms
  • Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to restaurant policy
