Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and stoop, and lift 50 - 75 lbs comfortably
- Be able to work in close quarters and around heat
- Have a positive attitude while conducting all duties
- Have a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Effective communicator with teammates and the restaurant management team
Job Qualifications
- High school or better
- Previous food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication skills with guests and team members
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive and helpful attitude
- Work together with other teammates to prepare items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements
- Use specific kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing, sanitizing, disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, and servicing restrooms
- Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to restaurant policy
