Job Requirements

  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program approval
  • Sr Principal project management experience with 8 years bachelor’s degree or 6 years master’s degree or 4 years PhD
  • Principal project management experience with 5 years bachelor’s degree or 3 years master’s degree or 1 year PhD
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to work a 9/80 schedule
  • No relocation assistance available
  • Must be able to work in Huntsville, AL

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline preferred
  • Experience in the defense industry
  • Knowledge of government contracts
  • AS9100 certified internal auditor preferred
  • Experience with Chief of Staff functions
  • Data analytics skills
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Excellent communication and briefing skills
  • Proficient in Agile program management and Microsoft Office tools

Job Duties

  • Serve as program integrator for the SLCM-N Program and Flexible Deterrence System portfolio
  • Coordinate and communicate program status and progress to management and stakeholders
  • Apply Agile program management techniques to oversee project timelines and deliverables
  • Develop and present technical approaches using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Problem solve complex programmatic issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Act as consultant to senior management and external stakeholders on program policies and objectives
  • Manage multiple complex assignments with minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in decision-making
