Job Requirements
- Must be retiring or separating from military service within one year
- Active Secret security clearance at time of application
- U.S. citizenship
- Has served at least 180 days of active duty
- Within 12 months of separation or retirement
- Receiving honorable discharge
- Completed service TAPS/TGPS
- Participated in ethics brief within last 12 months
- Written authorization from Unit Commander to participate in SkillBridge program
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with relevant experience
- Experience in hardware design including panel and cable layouts and schematic preparation
- Proficient in hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware
- Knowledge of lab test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Experienced with electrical design tools like Zuken, AutoCAD, and PSpice
- Skilled in test automation software such as LabView, TCL, or MATLAB
- Active Secret security clearance with eligibility for Top-Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Job Duties
- Design and fabricate electrical ground support equipment test sets
- Develop panel and cable designs and electrical schematics
- Create acceptance criteria and certification procedures for test hardware
- Perform hardware checkout, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Interface with subsystem test engineers, operators, technicians, and vendors
- Participate in the full design cycle from conception through fabrication and testing
- Support multiple programs with test set design and integration needs
