Job Requirements
- Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance within a reasonable period of time
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of military and/or professional leadership experience or higher education equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of tactical jet aircraft maintenance experience in the US military
- Experience at the Operational level of maintenance
- Experience in relevant Naval Aviation maintenance rates or equivalent
- Working knowledge of government and customer compliance standards
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work onsite in Melbourne, FL
- Available to travel up to 10% of the time
- Eligible for program funding and start date confirmation
- Relocation assistance may be available
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of military and/or professional leadership experience or Master's Degree with 3 years of experience or PhD with 1 year of experience
- 5 or more years of hands-on tactical jet aircraft maintenance experience as an aircraft maintainer in the US military
- Experience at the Operational Level of maintenance
- Experience in Aviation Machinist's Mate, Aviation Structural Mechanic, or Aviation Structural Mechanic Safety Equipment rates or equivalents
- Working knowledge of customer compliance documents, government instructions, and government standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and diverse assignments
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Current Special Program Access
- Formal instructor experience
- Instructional System Design education or training from an accredited institution or service training command
- Experience in task analysis procedures and training systems products
- Basic understanding of Agile processes
- Experience using courseware development tools such as LCMS and LMS
- Familiarity with Atlassian project management software such as Confluence and Jira
Job Duties
- Provide a comprehensive analysis of the manpower, personnel, training, acquisition, development, and sustainment requirements for all Naval Aviation maintainer rates
- Perform formalized Instructional System Design analyses including Front End Analysis, Baseline Comparison System analysis, Job Duty Task Analysis, Mission Task Analysis, and Training System Requirements Analysis
- Develop training curriculum, study outlines, and orientation materials to be employed during procedures-based maintenance training
- Support the development of criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
- Continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and maintain updated technical information
- Demonstrate and use effective training analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify specific training needs and develop solutions for satisfying unique skills-based training requirements
