Job Requirements

  • Must be an active-duty U.S. military member approved for DoD SkillBridge program
  • Continuation of current military wage and benefits during internship
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical experience in mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, or mechatronic systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills
  • Customer service and teamwork ability
  • Ability to work onsite and travel locally
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Valid driver’s license with limited violations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED
  • Demonstrated experience or applied knowledge in mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, mechatronic, or related systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface with customers and collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work onsite and travel locally as needed
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis
  • Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
  • U.S. Military experience as an E5 or above preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in demand-side energy services or Certified Energy Manager preferred
  • Familiarity with engineering HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet with customers to diagnose HVAC, Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security system malfunctions and maintain, repair, or install equipment
  • Commission new equipment as needed
  • Consult with internal engineering and management teams to resolve discrepancies or problems
  • Complete service work documentation and assist customers with training instructions
  • Recommend system enhancements and provide value-added partner relationships
