Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in clerical or administrative roles
  • proficiency with document management software
  • strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow established procedures and escalate issues appropriately
  • attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
  • willingness to support team leadership and training functions
  • knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) system is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • High school grad or equivalent
  • demonstrated computer skills and the ability to learn applicable software programs such as Origami Risk and Microsoft Word
  • MS Excel
  • effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills
  • prior document management software experience
  • prior experience in performance of clerical work
  • basic web navigational and computer skills including Outlook
  • knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) system, especially PeopleSoft preferred
  • associate degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Researches returned mail and reposts for mailing
  • manages medical only to lost time transfers
  • uploads litigation correspondence from the Office of the Judges of Compensation Claims
  • uploads incoming faxes
  • links new mail to Workers Compensation and Risk claims
  • writes checks for Workers Compensation and Risk invoices
  • retrieves hardcopy mail from the mailroom, sorts, scans, uploads, and links it
  • delivers hardcopy mail to on-site recipients and departments
  • verifies data within the bill review/repricing vendor system
  • clears W-9 forms and communicates with Shared Financial Services
  • researches stop payment requests for checks
  • serves as back up on check release for medical bills with bill review/repricing vendor
  • serves as back up on Risk check release process
  • interacts professionally with Legal, Accounting and Executive offices in person, by phone, or Teams Chat on short notice
  • performs other duties as assigned
