Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations
- Ability to follow safety protocols and HSSE policies
- Ability to read and interpret customer orders and shipping documents
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to use basic computer systems for documentation
- Willingness to work swing shifts including evenings
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
- Good physical stamina for lifting and moving materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures
- Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
- Load/unload containers, lift materials, verify and receive purchase orders and bills of lading, count and label shipments
- Pack and/or ship materials in compliance with DOT and Carlile policies and procedures
- Consolidate boxes and pallets for shipment
- Note damaged freight, record on bill of lading and photograph
- Maintain good housekeeping standards with focus on the care and custody of materials
- Prepare and prioritize orders for shipment including delivery documents
- Prioritize and complete day-to-day activities based on customer needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
