Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a warehouse or dock worker role preferred
- ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- physical strength and stamina to handle manual labor demands including lifting heavy freight
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow safety guidelines
- flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and occasionally lift heavy objects

Job Duties
- safely and efficiently load and unload freight from trucks and other transportation vehicles using forklifts and pallet jacks
- organize and sort incoming and outgoing freight based on destination and shipping method
- accurately record and maintain shipment documentation including quantity and weight
- adhere to all safety protocols and report hazards or incidents immediately
- operate material handling equipment safely and conduct routine maintenance checks
- collaborate with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and team members for timely freight movement
- inspect freight for damage or discrepancies and report issues for proper handling
