Job Requirements

  • ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • prolonged standing and walking in indoor/outdoor environments

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • eligible to work in the United States
  • effective communication skills in English including reading, writing, and speaking
  • knowledge of the aviation industry
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operational computer programs
  • ability to communicate with internal and external customers
  • basic math skills
  • advanced recall ability
  • professional communication skills in chat programs such as Teams, Chime, Slack
  • ability to coordinate simultaneously with drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics partners via two-way radio, phones, and chats
  • ability to work in a multi-functional office setting
  • ability to write and send daily reports
  • capacity to work in varying temperature conditions
  • ability to interpret information in print and electronic formats including using tablets, computers, and mobile devices
  • ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • eligible to acquire necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, U.S. Postal) as applicable
  • flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • adhere to strict safety and security protocols during operations
  • maintain accurate records of cargo and baggage movements
  • handle special cargo with care following handling procedures
  • participate in emergency response and contingency planning at the dock
  • provide excellent customer service addressing inquiries and concerns
  • collaborate with team members to ensure smooth dock operations
  • keep the dock area clean, organized, and free of hazards
  • attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on operational procedures and safety guidelines
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
