Job Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Colorado at the time of application
  • Must have a valid Colorado State driver license
  • One year of customer service or receptionist experience or relevant work experience
  • Ability to document experience in detail on application
  • Compliance with tax filing requirements as per Colorado Individual Income Tax policy
  • Successful completion of background investigation and reference check
  • Ability to maintain highest standards of honesty, integrity, and public trust
  • Willingness to comply with Universal Driving Standards Policy if required to operate state vehicles

Job Qualifications

  • One year of customer service or receptionist experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Experience working in regulated environments with laws, rules, and regulations
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated written communication, computer, and data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress environments
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Greet customers as they enter the DMV office and guide them to appropriate services
  • Act as the gatekeeper for the office to ensure smooth workflow
  • Assist customers with the use of appointment kiosks, website, and online portals
  • Check customers in for appointments and other DMV transactions
  • Provide assistance to walk-in customers to enhance customer experience
  • Organize and manage customer workflow within the office
  • Conduct vision testing as needed
  • Provide administrative support including contacting customers, reviewing documents, maintaining clean workspace, and stocking advisor station
