Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan if not already certified
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work varied hours/days including early mornings and weekends
  • Expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available
  • Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and cash management
  • Understanding of food safety regulations
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed
  • Lead by example and act as a brand ambassador
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training for team members
  • Jump into various roles each shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages and a safe, clean store environment
  • Conduct inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and achieve food cost and labor targets
  • Recruit, schedule, and develop quality team members
