Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years leadership experience preferred
  • ability to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends starting as early as 3am
  • must pass background check
  • must possess current, valid driver’s license
  • must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by the end of the General Manager development plan if not already certified
  • able to fill in for General Managers at other locations
  • must accept a permanent General Manager promotion when available
  • physically able to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during work hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • knowledge of restaurant operations
  • proficiency in scheduling and inventory management
  • capable of learning P&L analysis, food cost controls, and labor management
  • willingness to travel within the market
  • valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed
  • fill in for General Managers in their absence
  • lead by example as a brand ambassador
  • provide ongoing coaching and training for team members
  • jump into different roles every shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages
  • maintain a safe, clean store environment
  • manage restaurant administrative duties including inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management
  • analyze P&L, achieve food cost and labor targets, schedule staff, and recruit quality team members
