Job Requirements

  • Ability to operate switchboard/transfer calls
  • Ability to greet parents and visitors in a warm and friendly manner
  • Ability to use computer network system and software applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written form
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and all other stakeholders
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and conflicting time constraints
  • Ability to organize and coordinate work
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work
  • Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure, with limited supervision
  • Ability to travel between campuses or to other facilities if needed for records, supplies, etc.

Job Qualifications

  • Eschool (student information systems) knowledge and experience required
  • Experience as an office assistant or in related field preferred
  • Notary public required or must be willing to receive training
  • Must have a current, valid Arkansas driver's license

Job Duties

  • Handle incoming calls to ensure questions are answered or routed to the appropriate personnel
  • Manage a filing system that contains student records
  • Record and update student information as needed
  • Update student enrollment paperwork, while processing and maintaining documents
  • Help organize and maintain common office areas
  • Perform general office clerical duties
  • Maintain supply inventory
  • Maintain office equipment as needed
  • Assist with student registration as needed
  • Assist all departments at central office as needed
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into state and district databases
  • Assist all stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
  • Make and receive phone calls and take messages
  • Respond to inquiries from students, teachers, parents and the community
  • Adhere to all policies of the district
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by other central office administrators as designated by the superintendent
