Job Requirements
- Legal documentation establishing identity and eligibility to work legally in the country
- Ability to work full-time including variable hours with early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Willingness to manage a portfolio of multiple store locations
- Commitment to upholding Starbucks values and company policies
- Availability to travel within the district as needed
Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of retail management experience overseeing 2 or more stores, departments, or units
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L, inventory, operations, and customer service
- 5+ years of leadership experience leading teams of 6 or more, including training and coaching
- 3+ years of experience in customer service-oriented roles
- Knowledge of multi-unit retail or restaurant industry operations and financial reporting
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- College degree in business or related field or 4+ years of US military service may substitute for part of the experience
Job Duties
- Grow a portfolio of successful businesses by developing district-level strategies to achieve financial, operational, and customer-service goals while addressing unique store strengths and challenges
- Lead a team of store managers by motivating, coaching, and strengthening them as leaders, operators, and business owners
- Serve as a resource by providing expertise on customer issues, staffing and management, store operations, and company policies and procedures
- Plan and implement strategies for store growth and operational excellence across multiple locations
- Foster team development through training, coaching, and performance management
- Analyze financial reports and metrics to inform business decisions and improve store performance
- Engage with local communities to enhance customer connections and brand presence
