Job Requirements
- Stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours per day
- Work around heat
- Work in close quarters with others
- Move throughout the restaurant and observe operational and employee performance
- Lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Work with various cleaning products
- Perform job at continuous high pace under pressure while maintaining quality and speed standards
- Ability to drive and travel to multiple locations and states as required
- Ability to travel daily to restaurants 4-5 days per week
Job Qualifications
- 7-10 years previous restaurant experience required
- 3-5 years in management positions preferably multi-unit experience including full-service, fast food or convenience
- Financial planning aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and P&L management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good listening skills
- Effective decision-making skills
- Strong analytical skills
Job Duties
- Evaluates each restaurant's ability to meet operating standards
- Provides regular feedback and coaching on improvement
- Conducts periodic inspections of the restaurants
- Visits restaurants in person 4-5 days per week
- Reviews guest comments and concerns with appropriate District Managers and ensures timely resolution
- Ensures that all regional training initiatives are met through their team
- Trains, coaches, and provides regular positive and corrective performance feedback to motivate and improve team members
- Actively recruits new District Managers and DMITs and prepares team members for promotion
- Reviews restaurant staffing and addresses coaching or counseling needs
- Analyzes business performance and initiates corrective actions for financial deviations
- Maintains awareness of competitive marketing programs and supports company-wide initiatives
- Ensures business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies
- Serves as a role model and sets a positive example in business and personnel management
- Negotiates vendor contracts and monitors facility maintenance expenditures
- Upholds food safety, food handling, and sanitation standards
- Oversees and coordinates new restaurant openings and remodels while maintaining timelines and communication
- Promotes sales growth within the restaurant’s local community
