Job Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years old or emancipated minor with documentation
  • Stand for long periods
  • Work around high temperatures and close quarters
  • Move throughout the restaurant observing operations and team performance
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
  • Work with various cleaning products
  • Perform job at a continuous high pace under pressure while maintaining quality and speed standards

Job Qualifications

  • 7-10 years previous restaurant experience
  • 3-5 years in management positions preferably multi-unit experience
  • Financial planning skills including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Proven ability to meet performance standards
  • Capability to take initiative and solve problems
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel 4-5 days per week

Job Duties

  • Ensure all team members in the district are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction
  • Evaluate each restaurant's QSC standards and provide regular feedback and coaching
  • Communicate all customer comments and concerns to appropriate restaurant managers and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure all general managers and GMITs receive appropriate orientation, training, and development
  • Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve team members
  • Evaluate overall performance of general managers and GMITs based on standards and expectations
  • Provide appropriate counseling and discipline
  • Provide effective training and follow-up on new products, programs, and changes
  • Actively recruit new general managers and GMITs
  • Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions when needed
  • Support company-wide marketing programs and evaluate local restaurant marketing strategies
  • Ensure business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies
  • Serve as a role model and set a positive example
  • Negotiate vendor contracts for districts following company approval process
  • Uphold food safety, handling, and sanitation standards to ensure health and safety of guests and team members
