Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old or emancipated minor with documentation
- Stand for long periods
- Work around high temperatures and close quarters
- Move throughout the restaurant observing operations and team performance
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Work with various cleaning products
- Perform job at a continuous high pace under pressure while maintaining quality and speed standards
Job Qualifications
- 7-10 years previous restaurant experience
- 3-5 years in management positions preferably multi-unit experience
- Financial planning skills including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Proven ability to meet performance standards
- Capability to take initiative and solve problems
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel 4-5 days per week
Job Duties
- Ensure all team members in the district are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction
- Evaluate each restaurant's QSC standards and provide regular feedback and coaching
- Communicate all customer comments and concerns to appropriate restaurant managers and follow up to ensure timely resolution
- Ensure all general managers and GMITs receive appropriate orientation, training, and development
- Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve team members
- Evaluate overall performance of general managers and GMITs based on standards and expectations
- Provide appropriate counseling and discipline
- Provide effective training and follow-up on new products, programs, and changes
- Actively recruit new general managers and GMITs
- Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions when needed
- Support company-wide marketing programs and evaluate local restaurant marketing strategies
- Ensure business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies
- Serve as a role model and set a positive example
- Negotiate vendor contracts for districts following company approval process
- Uphold food safety, handling, and sanitation standards to ensure health and safety of guests and team members
