Job Requirements

  • Stand for long periods up to 12 hours per day
  • work around heat and close quarters with others
  • able to move throughout restaurants to observe operations
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • work with various cleaning products
  • perform job at continuous high pace under pressure
  • ability to drive and travel to multiple locations and states
  • ability to travel daily to restaurants 4-5 days per week

Job Qualifications

  • 7-10 years previous restaurant experience
  • 3-5 years in management positions, preferably multi-unit
  • financial planning aptitude including budgeting and P&L management
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • good listening skills
  • effective decision-making skills
  • strong analytical skills

Job Duties

  • Evaluate each restaurant's ability to meet operating standards
  • provide regular feedback and coaching for improvement
  • conduct periodic restaurant inspections
  • visit restaurants in person 4-5 days per week
  • review guest comments and concerns with district managers and ensure timely resolution
  • ensure training initiatives for region are met through their team
  • train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve team members
  • actively recruit new district managers and management trainees
  • ensure appropriate restaurant staffing and coaching
  • analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions
  • maintain awareness of competitive marketing programs and support company-wide marketing
  • ensure business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies
  • serve as a role model and set positive examples for team
  • negotiate vendor contracts and monitor facility maintenance expenditures
  • uphold food safety and sanitation standards
  • oversee new restaurant openings and remodels
  • promote local community sales building
