Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5-10 years of leadership experience in food-service operations in acute-care hospital settings
- Proven ability to manage P&L and financial targets
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to understand and implement contractual obligations
- Experience leading change and turnaround initiatives
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience over 5-10 years including P&L responsibility within food-service operations in an acute-care hospital setting
- Demonstrated leadership skills with knowledge of management practices and client interaction
- Ability to hire, assess, develop and grow hard-working talent
- Comfortable reading and implementing contractual requirements
- Established communication and teamwork skills across all organizational levels
- Proven success in repeatable business models and leading through change
- Bachelor’s degree generally required, advanced degree preferred
Job Duties
- Establish overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of multiple accounts and units
- Model key leadership behaviors and ensure safety, quality, and service excellence
- Coach and mentor employees by crafting a shared understanding of objectives
- Reward and recognize employees and develop top talent
- Plan and lead team management meetings
- Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Build revenue and manage budget while maintaining P&L statements
- Lead labor and financial initiatives ensuring operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and wage and hour policies and regulations
