Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of leadership experience in food-service operations in acute-care hospital settings
  • Proven ability to manage P&L and financial targets
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to understand and implement contractual obligations
  • Experience leading change and turnaround initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience over 5-10 years including P&L responsibility within food-service operations in an acute-care hospital setting
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with knowledge of management practices and client interaction
  • Ability to hire, assess, develop and grow hard-working talent
  • Comfortable reading and implementing contractual requirements
  • Established communication and teamwork skills across all organizational levels
  • Proven success in repeatable business models and leading through change
  • Bachelor’s degree generally required, advanced degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Establish overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of multiple accounts and units
  • Model key leadership behaviors and ensure safety, quality, and service excellence
  • Coach and mentor employees by crafting a shared understanding of objectives
  • Reward and recognize employees and develop top talent
  • Plan and lead team management meetings
  • Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Build revenue and manage budget while maintaining P&L statements
  • Lead labor and financial initiatives ensuring operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and wage and hour policies and regulations
