Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills

  • 24 hour availability and flexibility
  • Strong work ethics including integrity and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in business, supply chain, engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in supply chain management or logistics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strategic thinking with excellent quantitative skills
  • Proven record of results-based performance
  • Strong initiative and project management abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity

Job Duties

  • Be available on a 24 hour call basis
  • Ensure logistics staffing with adequate sand trucks to support district fleets
  • Monitor third-party carrier usage and maintain carrier relationships
  • Develop communication plans for daily operational updates
  • Reduce demurrage and stand-by time through efficient proppant flow
  • Coordinate job site pad design for efficient truck turns
  • Investigate and report NPT or demurrage issues
  • Review and ensure best rates and cost-saving opportunities
  • Evaluate carrier compliance with company policies
  • Ensure OSHA and DOT regulatory compliance
  • Process driver and warehouse payroll and time sheets
  • Audit company trucks for DOT compliance and service hours
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness and operational status
  • Lead and represent the company professionally
  • Provide guidance and training to field personnel on inventory management
  • Monitor open purchase orders, goods receipts, cycle counts, and inventory transfer processes
  • Review inventory levels with district management
  • Manage slow inventory and security issues
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory through cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Train field personnel on inventory monitoring dashboards
  • Optimize inventory to support business needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
