Job Requirements
- Willingness to work event-based hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move around large stadiums, arenas, or convention centers during scheduled events
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic work environment with a matrix reporting structure
- Ability to provide effective coaching and training
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Legal authorization to work and travel within the U.S. and Canada
- Physically active role requiring significant movement during events
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required - Safety & Health, Business Administration, or Public Health degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of food safety and/or occupational experience
- Certified ServSafe trainer preferred or ability to obtain certification within six months
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Strong coaching, influencing, and negotiating skills
- Comfortable providing training and coaching to management and hourly employees
- Ability to assess and address location food and occupational safety needs proactively
- Previous management or training experience required
- Occupational, food, and/or culinary experience in high-volume venue or regulatory department preferred
- Ability to legally travel within the U.S. and Canada as needed
Job Duties
- Oversee food and occupational safety operations across key venues including U.S. Bank Stadium, University of Minnesota, University of Iowa, and Xtream Arena
- Travel to additional locations across the U.S. and Canada to support safety initiatives, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teams
- Coach and lead staff in accordance with facility and Aramark standards
- Collaborate with Aramark Safety & Risk Control, District Manager, General Managers, and Clients to implement and enforce Aramark's SAFE Commitment
- Assist site-based management teams to execute safety standards and requirements effectively
- Assure high levels of guest service and quality control for all supported events
- Maintain working relationships with local and regional compliance and regulatory authorities
- Coordinate and support District Safety Meeting/Committee Structure
- Conduct internal work safety and food safety assessments and follow-up with corrective actions
- Lead supported teams to provide high-quality guest experience
- Ensure current Aramark safety standards and procedure documentation are in place
- Verify implementation and execution of safety standards and procedures
- Accompany Public Health and Regulatory Inspectors during on-site inspections and address non-compliance issues
- Manage internal and external corrective action processes to comply with regulatory requirements and prevent recurrences
