Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of related experience including one year of leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Registered Code Enforcement Certification required for internal promotion, external hires allowed 12 months to obtain
- Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
- Knowledge of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work Texas A and M University home football games and other special events
- Ability to work night shifts
- Willingness and availability to work rotation schedule for on-call and standby after hour support including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Coordinate the implementation of district plans, operations and services under the Community Services Department
- Provide prompt, courteous and effective customer service to stakeholders, citizens and visitors
- Enforce district policies, procedures and city ordinances to improve district conditions and neighborhood integrity
- Direct crew activities on assigned shifts and support the Northgate District Supervisor in employee performance evaluations
- Perform parking operations including managing pay stations and gates, and maintaining parking assets
- Conduct parking enforcement by resolving illegal parking issues and issuing citations
- Coordinate refuse collection, upkeep of common areas, pressure washing, horticulture work, vandalism response, graffiti removal, and nuisance monitoring
- Participate in code compliance duties by inspecting premises, identifying violations, issuing notices and citations, and maintaining records
- Plan, coordinate and oversee special events including vendor relations, entertainment, event operations, and site preparation
- Implement pedestrian safety and traffic control measures including setting up cones, street closures, and barricade management
- Communicate with district stakeholders and municipal departments to implement activities
- Respond to public inquiries and receive feedback
- Train, mentor, coach, monitor and coordinate activities of assigned staff
- Perform other assigned duties as directed
