Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to apply basic instructions and procedures
- Ability to respond to requests via written, oral, headset or walkie talkie communication
- Capable of bending, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable standing, sitting or walking for 10-12 hour shifts
- Willingness and ability to operate powered industrial and mechanical equipment after training
- Ability to work in various temperature and noise conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow basic instructions and safety guidelines
- Experience operating warehouse equipment a plus
- Strong communication skills including use of headsets or walkie talkies
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Willingness to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Demonstrated passion for pets and customer service
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment
- Perform routine building custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Operate powered industrial equipment like reach trucks and dock stockers safely following all protocols
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries to support warehouse flow
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Follow established procedures for handling materials and hazardous substances
- Collaborate with distribution team members to ensure timely and accurate product handling
