Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of relevant experience in warehouse or distribution
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting over 100 pounds
- Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment
- Basic computer and technology literacy including use of RF scanning and voice picking devices
- Commitment to safety, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Willingness to work the assigned shifts and flexible hours as needed
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and material handling procedures
- Familiarity with RF scanning and voice picking technology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Physical ability to lift heavy items and meet the demands of the job
Job Duties
- Accurately load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized product and POS material utilizing manual and power material handling equipment
- Sort and place products or POS materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined designated locations
- Accurately assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, wrap pallets with stretch film and prepare for shipping
- Mark and label incoming products with identifying information such as date code, product description and code, and case count
- Mark and label outgoing products with identifying information such as route number, bin location, and pallet count
- Verify amounts of product and POS materials received
- Use technology such as RF scanning and voice picking equipment during local checkout process according to company operation guidelines
- Operate material handling equipment to transport stored items within the warehouse
- Prepare and organize warehouse for daily cycle count inventory and shopping activities
- Complete daily maintenance power equipment checklist and report defective equipment
- Practice and adhere to appropriate safety, food safety and hygiene guidelines and procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection
- Keep work area clean and remove trash from work area floor
- Store supplies in designated areas
- Keep work area aisles and exits clear and free from obstructions
- Follow instructions for safe lifting and carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights and identify and report defective equipment
- Report all job-related injuries and property damage to supervision
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain)
- May perform other duties as required
