Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Loads supplies on transport carts as necessary
  • delivers food, equipment, mail, and supplies to the correct district centers and schools
  • loads specially designed containers of food for delivery using equipped trucks
  • adheres to schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • picks up, sorts, and delivers incoming and outgoing district mail
  • transports large amounts of money daily to the bank
  • represents the Bend-La Pine School district professionally and focuses on customer service
  • assists the Distribution Manager with receiving, storing, and distributing products
  • unloads trucks and vehicles manually or with equipment
  • organizes mail and deliveries to maximize savings and service
  • transports commodities between schools and central kitchen and maintains inventory records
  • ensures return and cleanliness of food transport containers
  • maintains and cleans transport trucks and reports maintenance needs
  • puts on and removes tire chains as needed
  • follows health, safety, and sanitation rules
  • cares for transport carts to prevent damage or spills
  • fulfills other related duties as assigned
  • meets performance standards and working conditions requirements
