Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 300 pounds using mechanical aids
- Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, and working at a quick pace
- Ability to understand part numbers and line codes
- Legible writing skills and effective communication
- Must be able to work between 7AM-8PM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends
- Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
- Basic computer operation skills
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate written and verbal instructions
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy parts
- Familiarity with warehouse safety rules and hazardous material handling
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Expedite incoming and outgoing freight in the distribution center warehouse
- Receive, stock, pull, stage, load and ship freight
- Process inventory and maximize warehouse space usage
- Check, verify, load, stock and pull inventory to meet store and customer orders
- Unpack incoming parts shipments from suppliers
- Pull orders for standard customer stock, special orders, main counter and will-call accurately
- Use electronic scan-gun and ensure safe packing and proper labeling of orders per regulations
- Clean up and dispose boxes, packing material, and pallets, maintain housekeeping
- Perform daily inspections and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Verify and complete documentation and reports
