Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 2 years experience in senior management in operations, distribution or logistics environment or 2 years experience as Walmart Logistics Operations Manager or 4 years senior management experience in operations, distribution, logistics or retail
- supervisory experience including evaluating and mentoring
- managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion
- successful completion of required job training and assessments
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in business, management, logistics, business administration, financial management, production or operations management
- 2 years experience in senior management role within operations, distribution or logistics environment OR 2 years experience as Walmart logistics operations manager with supervisory duties OR 4 years experience in senior management in operations, distribution, logistics or retail environment
- experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring and developing managers or supervisors
- experience managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion
- completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
- preferred qualifications include compliance, financial modeling and analysis, managing workforce issues, modeling and forecasting, budgeting and P&L accountability
Job Duties
- communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing
- drive, develop and implement business plans to achieve facility goals
- forecast and manage staffing workload and performance
- manage financial aspects including budget monitoring and expense tracking
- ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- investigate and resolve concerns of associates, customers, and suppliers
- serve as a community liaison and champion company-sponsored programs
- supervise and manage associates and leaders, providing guidance and development
- foster a workplace culture of respect, inclusion, and belonging
- build strong, trusting relationships and communicate effectively
- attract, retain, and empower talent
- maintain and promote integrity and compliance
- deliver results focused on customer satisfaction
- make data-driven decisions balancing short and long-term priorities
- encourage continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies
