Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Two years experience in senior management within operations, distribution, or logistics environment
- Supervisory experience managing and developing managers or supervisors
- Experience managing workload and participating in hiring and promotion
- Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
- Ability to resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Experience in a senior management role within an operations, distribution, or logistics environment
- Supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors
- Managing workload and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees
- Knowledge of compliance, financial modeling and analysis, managing challenging workforce issues
- Skilled in forecasting, preparing and executing budgets, profit and loss accountability
- Experience with Walmart logistics management systems
- Preferred degrees include business, finance, logistics, management, and operations management
Job Duties
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
- Drive, develop, and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals
- Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands
- Manage assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses compared to budget
- Monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards
- Investigate and ensure associate, customer, and supplier concerns are resolved
- Supervise and manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction, communicating goals, and monitoring performance
