Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- ability to treat all information as confidential
- possess tact to deal with all levels of situations
- must be detail-oriented and perform with minimal supervision
- must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand, bend throughout the shift
- must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs
- must pass pre-employment and random drug test
- must complete a criminal background check
- must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- must be a US citizen or possess necessary authorization from the immigration and naturalization service
- identification badges must be visible at all times
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
- previous radio or phone dispatch experience desirable
- previous supervisory experience preferred
- working knowledge of office software applications including word-processing, spreadsheet, and data management
- strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- excellent radio and telephone skills
- attention to detail
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- professionalism and tact in dealing with clients, employees, and the public
Job Duties
- Coordinate communications to the cabin service agent team and management
- provide updates and notifications between the client and employees
- ensure all data is recorded according to company procedures
- work with client special services representatives to ensure all service requests are met
- pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
- prepare and submit reports accurately and timely
- escalate issues to operations manager immediately
- maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
- communicate effectively with employees and client representatives
- maintain and distribute radios where applicable
- respond to telephone and radio calls promptly
- provide general information and directions to passengers
- attend meetings and inservices as required
- adhere to company policies and procedures
- perform other duties as requested
