Job Description

Job Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years old
  • Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and retain instructions
  • Able to exhibit sound judgment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Broad base of general typing, clerical, data entry and office skills
  • Willingness to gain a greater knowledge of BBMR's ski trails, chairlifts, and mountain operations
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
  • Able to speak clearly, give direction, and provide accurate details
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in stressful situations
  • Radio experience preferred
  • Available to work flexible schedules including nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Coordinate communication to ensure smooth on-time opening and closing of the resort
  • Log all lift stoppages and report information to appropriate departments
  • Alert management of all lift downtime
  • Maintain updates and communication with key resort personnel
  • Assist in prioritizing tasks under stressful conditions
  • Facilitate radio communications where necessary
  • Support overall mountain operations by gaining knowledge of ski trails and chairlift systems
