Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- 0-3 years in freight forwarding industry experience preferred and/or industry experience in customer service or operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience working with AS400 preferred
- Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- High attention to details and organization
- Strong geographic and mapping skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties
- Responsible for routing local freight, dispatching drivers, performing dock checks, tracking shipments, working with dock staff members to ensure movement of freight
- Timely event data entry of shipment milestones into MyAIT and AS400 tracking system - pickup, delivery, obtain proof of delivery
- Provide customer service to identify and meet specific customer needs
- Answer and make customer inquiry calls and address customer concerns and complaints
- Assign driver load planning based on local mapping and appointments accordingly
- Identifying and coordinating the prioritization of rushed, urgent, last minute shipments
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary
