Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in aviation management, business, or related field
  • 0-2 years experience in dispatching or aviation
  • Or minimum 5 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to use scheduling software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Receive and process requests for demonstration, transportation, and training flights
  • Determine availability of aircraft and flight crew
  • Examine feasibility of trip based on flight time, crew duty time, and other factors
  • Input trip data into scheduling software
  • Interface with flight crews, sales managers, and support teams
  • Communicate with maintenance and line personnel to prepare aircraft
  • Monitor maintenance requirements and ensure timely inspections
  • Schedule aircraft maintenance with maintenance team
  • Manage aircraft schedules for special requirements like air shows, photo missions, and international tours
  • Track and schedule off-site production, modification, and delivery flight activity
  • Coordinate off-site transportation and lodging for personnel
  • Manage flight requests to minimize deadhead time
  • Provide aircraft and flight crew reports to management
  • Post flight data and trip expenses
  • Coordinate customer support flights with various departments
  • Receive and recommend time off requests for flight crew
  • Schedule pilot training and ensure compliance with training deadlines
  • Dispatch and follow all flight activity
  • Monitor company frequency communications and maintain communication with flight crews
  • Respond quickly to emergencies when needed
