Job Requirements
- Geographic and road knowledge of Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties
- Intermediate Windows XP or Vista computer experience
- Good communication and problem solving skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous dispatching or transportation coordination experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills, especially with Windows operating systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Familiarity with Philadelphia and surrounding counties geography
Job Duties
- Dispatching vehicles and chauffeurs on assigned reservations in the greater Philadelphia and Wilmington areas
- Coordinating schedules to ensure timely dispatch
- Communicating with chauffeurs regarding route and reservation details
- Monitoring traffic and road conditions to optimize routing
- Problem-solving to handle unexpected delays or changes
- Maintaining accurate records of dispatch activities
- Using computer systems to log and manage dispatch information
