Job Requirements
- high school diploma, GED, or 3 years applicable experience
- minimum 2 years work experience
- minimum 2 years experience managing one or more employees
- or 1 year experience with WillScot
- proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- experience in direct customer communication through phone and email
- strong customer service focus with excellent listening and communication skills
- ability to work under direction and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- creative problem-solving skills
- capacity to establish and maintain trust with vendors through open communication
- ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- preferred 3 years logistics experience
- familiarity with scheduling, route planning, and route optimization
- knowledge of CRM or contact management software
- preferred Salesforce experience
- understanding of DOT compliance and vehicle telematics
- familiarity with Hours of Service regulations and Electronic Logging Devices
- experience working with outside vendors including pricing and schedule negotiations

Job Duties
- conduct business in compliance with environmental health and safety policies
- conduct periodic safety meetings and update safety documents and logs
- manage employee health and safety through safety training and assessments
- ensure operating standards are conducted with robust training and communication
- provide managerial oversight by assigning tasks to drivers, field service techs, set up crews, transportation coordinators, and branch coordinators
- manage tasks, daily assignments, and duties for temporary workers and contractors
- own DOT compliance within assigned territory
- set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities for the team
- schedule and assign in-house or vendor drivers to ensure 100% on-time pick-up and delivery targets
- schedule and assign service and maintenance calls supporting customers on rent
- review delivery and pick-up schedules to develop dispatch plans
- load level volume with end-to-end customer communication
- create and receive purchase orders for transport vendors and arrange permits and escorts
- coordinate employees, vendors, and contractors for timely completion of installation and removal
- monitor digital tracking to update orders and schedules and communicate with stakeholders
- ensure drivers collect appropriate delivery and pick-up documentation and document damages at retrieval and return
- monitor and document DVIR and preventative maintenance files
- ensure all paperwork is completed, recorded, and filed
- track drivers and vendors through digital applications for on-time performance
- schedule deliveries and pick-ups outside of the current dispatch schedule as needed
- assist drivers with schedule or route changes
- communicate with customers to assist in scheduling activities
- confirm site readiness, delivery access, and permitting
- define and maintain office and administrative procedures
- act as point of contact for branch activities including timekeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, purchase orders, filing, and reception duties
- manage branch administrative employees if applicable
- review Drivecam coaching opportunities and take necessary actions
- conduct performance discussions and training
- perform other duties as assigned
