Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • At least 2 years experience managing employees or 1 year experience with the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to navigate and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to problem solve creatively
  • Experience in vendor relationship management
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities
  • Preferred logistics experience
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations
  • Experience with CRM or Salesforce platforms
  • Knowledge of permitting and telematics

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience
  • 2 years work experience
  • 2 years experience managing one or more employees or 1 year of experience with WillScot
  • MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience
  • Experience working directly with customers by phone and email
  • Strong customer service orientation, active listening, excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience applying creativity to problem-solving
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through proactive communication
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: 3 years logistic experience
  • Scheduling, route planning and optimization
  • Familiarity with CRM system or other contact management platform
  • Salesforce experience
  • Familiarity with DOT compliance and vehicle telematics
  • Knowledge of Hours of Service regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, permitting
  • Experience working with outside vendors including pricing and schedule negotiations

Job Duties

  • Conducts business in compliance with all environmental health and safety policies
  • Conducts periodic safety meetings and updates safety documents and logs
  • Manages employee health and safety through creating a safe workplace with safety training and assessments
  • Provides direct and indirect managerial oversight by assigning tasks and daily duties to drivers, field service techs, set up crews, transportation coordinators, and branch coordinators
  • Manages DOT compliance within assigned territory
  • Sets priorities and schedules in-house or vendor drivers to achieve on-time pick-up and delivery targets
  • Reviews and develops dispatch plans for deliveries and pick-ups
  • Coordinates employees or vendors for completion of complex installation and removal
  • Monitors digital tracking to update customer orders and communicate with customers and vendors
  • Ensures drivers collect appropriate documentation and document damages
  • Maintains daily paperwork and safety files
  • Assists drivers with schedule or route issues
  • Confirms site readiness, delivery access, and permitting
  • Defines and maintains office administrative procedures including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and purchase orders
  • Conducts performance discussions and training
  • Other duties as assigned
