Job Requirements
- You are at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid DMV driver's license for at least 3 years
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience preferred in Paratransit, Fixed Route, or Demand Response environment
- Ability to work assigned schedule including weekends, nights, early mornings, and holidays
- Ability to secure wheelchairs and physically capable to bend, push, and pull up to fifty pounds
- Clean driving record with a minimum of three years driving history

- Proficient in using computer-aided dispatching and routing tools
Job Duties
- Leads and directs shuttles, accountable based on assigned duties and tasks as directed
- Serves as central control for day-to-day vehicle communications, trip routing, and handling emergency situations
- Diligently monitors shuttles including on time performance, vehicle pull-outs, and properly documents rider no-shows
- Meets with the account manager regularly to discuss KPI goals and objectives and ensure they are met or exceeded
- Promotes a teamwork environment and effective communication between dispatchers, supervisors, and operators
- Coordinates problem resolution among operators, supervisors, and the public
- Communicates clear direction and response over radio with operators and supervisors utilizing established radio codes
- Influences positive employee morale and quality customer service
- Monitors operator sign-in and sign-out using computer-aided dispatching and routing tools
- May be required to drive in service when required
- Provides superior customer service and communication skills
- Documents service disruption issues using the dispatch log
- Ensures accurate assignment of vehicles and operators
- Follows company and agency policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
