Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • FAA Part 121 Dispatch certificate
  • Experience in FAR Part 121 operations
  • Proficient in GOM, AOM, FAA SPECS, OCC-SOP, MEL, NRFO manuals
  • Skilled in office software like Word, Excel, Lotus Notes
  • Ability to use AIMS, Navblue, or Jeppesen software
  • Strong understanding of navigation and weather
  • Excellent decision-making under pressure
  • Flexible to work night shifts and weekends
  • Ability to cover scheduling shortages
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, college degree a plus
  • FAA Part 121 Dispatch certificate required
  • Aviation industry knowledge and FAR Part 121 experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in interpreting GOM, AOM, FAA SPECS, OCC-SOP, MEL, NRFO manuals
  • Skilled in using office software such as Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes
  • Experience with AIMS, Navblue, and/or Jeppesen highly desired
  • Understanding of navigation, weather, routing, and altitudes
  • Strong decision-making skills related to safety, flight regulations, and costs
  • Flexible schedule accommodating nights and weekends
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, problem solve, and manage time precisely
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork

Job Duties

  • Exercises operational control including timely execution of flight releases and providing necessary safety information to PIC
  • Maintains operational control by monitoring weather, navigation, airport facilities, fuel, and airworthiness
  • Executes notifications for arrivals and departures and coordinates with Load Control and Maintenance
  • Reports operational issues to OCC Duty Managers and manages fuel schedules to maximize cost efficiency
  • Supports Charter Sales with payloads, enroute times, and permit arrangements
  • Completes fuel tankering control, daily recaps, trip envelopes, and assignments from OCC Managers
  • Responds promptly to operational communications and backs up scheduling and maintenance control lines
  • Processes manuals, fuel reconciliations, statistical reports, and trip envelopes during downtime
  • Schedules flight crews and monitors crew times
  • Assists flight crews with load movements, weight and balance, arranging ground handling and support
  • Maintains high reliability ratings in flight releasing and operational control duties
  • Ensures efficient payload maximization and fuel tankering efficiencies
  • Utilizes downtime effectively for processing permits, reports, and manual revisions
  • Receives positive performance evaluations and maintains attendance standards
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed
