Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience managing a dispatch team or logistics operations
- ability to work the specified shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm Mountain Time
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- proficiency in relevant tracking and logistics software
- effective communication skills
- ability to handle customer service inquiries promptly and professionally

- proficient with delivery and shipment tracking software
- excellent communication and customer service abilities
- knowledge of transportation logistics and freight management
- ability to negotiate and coordinate with shipping and freight companies
- familiarity with shipping documentation such as bills of lading and invoices
Job Duties
- Managing a dispatch team that schedules and coordinates deliveries and pick-ups
- coordinating the schedule of a shipping company or a group of drivers
- ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered timely into tracking software
- managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and location of drivers
- obtaining back-haul freight and dispatching OTR drivers
- directing inbound and outbound logistics operations including transportation and warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management
- negotiating and arranging transport of goods with shipping or freight companies
