Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- two years experience as a dispatcher
- college and/or related technical experience
- one year supervisory experience
- four years experience in the shipping and warehousing environment or CDL truck driving experience

- college and/or related technical experience
- logistics transportation supply chain management
- one year supervisory experience as a proven manager of at least five people
- four years experience in the shipping and warehousing environment or CDL truck driving experience
- able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or graphic form
- ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Job Duties
- dispatch as needed will put rates in TMW or rate loads negotiate rates with 3rd party carriers
- direct the daily driver duties managing where they go the time it takes and when their day is concluded
- dispatchers will manage DOT compliance related to driver available hours of service when assigning loads and daily task
- dispatchers are required to interact with internal and external customers as needed
- enter POs as needed
- participate and initiate discipline to drivers as per company policy
- review driver documents for accuracy and/or compliance
