Job Requirements
- US citizenship required
- Must be able to hold or obtain a Secret security clearance
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience as a 911 dispatcher or in similar emergency call center role
- Ability to work under stress and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Excellent phone communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to perform administrative and filing duties
- Willingness to undergo and pass a thorough background check

- Excellent phone skills
- Ability to perform filing and administrative duties
- Knowledge of 24-hour emergency communication center operations and public safety communications environment
- Proficient computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to hold or obtain Secret security clearance
Job Duties
- Monitor FPS and guard radio traffic while coordinating responses to emergencies and non-emergencies
- Communicate audio messages via radio and telephone
- Coordinate law enforcement and public safety personnel activities
- Transfer public safety information
- Answer questions and update client records
- Think and act quickly, calmly, and accurately in emergency situations
- Log all calls with required details in the database
- Maintain detailed logs to ensure officer safety and efficient communications
- Operate multi-channel radio and telephone equipment
- Access federal, state, and local databases maintaining compliance
- Assist with quality review of events created by dispatchers
- Monitor alarms and keep accurate records
- Perform administrative tasks on desktop computers and notify management of issues
- Monitor in-house CCTV cameras
- Perform dispatching duties for other locations during failures
- Assist in training dispatcher trainees
- Routinely test alarms, communication systems, and other devices
